How long does therapy usually take?

Therapy can take a few months to a few years, depending on your goals and the severity of your symptoms. I work from a Solution-Focused lens, which means I try to get you feeling better quicker and more efficiently than traditional talk therapy. We'll create a plan together and continue checking in on your progress.

What should I expect for my first session?

The first session consists of an intake and treatment plan development. We'll go over all of your paperwork, the limits of confidentiality, and the practice policies before discussing your goals and experiences. Expect to answer questions but this is also a great time to ask any questions of me.

How much do sessions cost?

Coaching and therapy sessions are $150 per 50 minute session. I also offer discounts for therapy clients booking 8 or more sessions, and have different discounted options available for coaching clients. I have a sliding scale that allows me to offer reduced session rates for clients with financial needs. Don't let money stand in the way - contact me and we will work out a rate.

Do you see couples or families?

No, I only see individual clients. I am happy to support you in your journey with your family and spouse alongside a couples counselor.
